Division was renamed the Open Facility Center, which was subsequently inaugurated in April 2020. The Ookayama Design and Manufacturing Division and the Suzukakedai Design and Manufacturing Division merged to become the Design and Manufacturing Division.<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"list-content mb20 img-grid-content\">\r\n<h2 class=\"title\">Work Description<\/h2>\r\n<div class=\"inner-content full-content\">\r\n<p>The Design and Manufacturing Division, which is located in the Ishikawadai Area of the Ookayama Campus and the Suzukakedai Campus, contributes to research and provides a machining service that serves the entire University.<br \/>\r\nTheir main functions are listed below.<br \/>\r\n- Educational support such as practical lessons<br \/>\r\n- Self-use and machine work by request<br \/>\r\n- Education and research support for design work<br \/>\r\n- Machine tool handling and safety guidance for students<br \/>\r\n- Technical intern training guidance and safety guidance from departments<br \/>\r\n- Machine tool maintenance<br \/>\r\n- Prototype design work support<br \/>\r\nIn our department's machine shop, there are three types of usage: business requests, self-use, and special self-use. In addition, depending on the required skills, the machine tools are classified into two types: Class A (self-use possible) and Class B (self-use not possible).
