About Shared Facilities

The University is working hard to prepare abundant research environments so that researchers can freely access diverse research environments without being confined to any field. Additionally, this will allow researchers who arrive at the University from within Japan or overseas to immediately commence their research. The significance of the sharing of research facilities, which are part of the infrastructure of a university, stems from the overarching goals of enabling everyone to take advantage of the various research facilities on campus, promoting the visibility, consolidation, and efficiency of research equipment; attracting top class researchers from around the world, and building educational research environments that are instrumental to nurturing outstanding researchers.About Shared Facilities

Integrated Facility Sharing

Many of the research facilities and equipment are available for consultation, training, and work requests, including self-use applications and advance meetings, through the Integrated Facilities Sharing System (Integrated System). Since the integrated system links budget master information with the billing system, users can specify budget information in the system, and can start making reservations and applications from the day user registration is completed. Users can also check their usage details and change their budget numbers online for smooth billing procedures.Integrated Facility Sharing
