    Research Infrastructure Strategy Office

The Research Infrastructure Strategy Office is in charge of the following operations as the department that controls the Open Facility Center.
    - Oversees work related to the maintenance of an environment in which researchers can dedicate themselves to their research
    - Oversees work related to facilitating the sharing of equipment among researchers both within and outside the University
    - Oversees work related to competitive grant applications, such as requests for budgetary appropriations, supplementary budgets, etc.
    - Strategic staff hiring activities

    TC College Promotion Office

The TC College Promotion Office operates the TC College, certifies TC and TM, develops educational programs and curriculum and promotes the construction of an all-Japan advanced engineer training network in order to establish role models and career paths for the training of research support personnel and to realize the strengthening of skills and research capabilities.
    ・TC College Management
・Planning and proposal of various programs for the development of advanced engineers
・Development of joint educational programs with research equipment manufacturers
・Establishment of an industry-government-academia human resources development network

    Design and Manufacturing Division

This department is located on the Ookayama Campus and the Suzukakedai Campus, and provides the following technical support centered on requested processing work by machine work for the entire university.

    - Machining, joining
    - Self-use opening of machine shops, processing guidance, safety management
    - 3D printer modeling
    - Design, drafting, 3D modeling
    - Technical support for experiments and practical lessons

    Materials Analysis Division

Our division is located on the Ookayama and Suzukakedai campuses and we operate various equipment and devices used in the structural and compositional analyses of materials across all departments. We primarily carry out the following research support activities:

    - Consultations on analysis
    - Facilitating the use of tools by individuals
    - Requested assisted analyses

    Educational Support Division

Of the experimental training courses that can be used, we will assign appropriate staff to provide support where technical support is required, in response to requests from the department / major and the common course implementation committee. Furthermore, in the area of educational technology in charge, we will improve educational materials and develop educational technology that introduces new technologies, and actively support technical education, which is important in science and engineering education.

    ICT Support Division

This department works to provide information services on campus by developing and operating information systems, and providing user support. It cooperates with the teachers at the Global Scientific Information and Computing Center and the staff at the Research Information Division Information Infrastructure Department to provide service on various systems, and aims to achieve a university information service environment that is easier to use, by continuing to provide detailed ongoing technical support according to the changing needs of the University.

    Safety and Radiation Management Division

This division provides technical support to various educational and research infrastructures at the University. The facilities that they currently support include the Safety Management Lab, facilities where radioactive isotopes are used, the Accelerator Experimental Facility, the Microwave Plasma Generation Lab, the Satellite Communications Facility, on-campus facilities where liquid helium is used, civil engineering and architecture factories, and the fluid experiment labs needed for imaging measurements. Our work involves a wide range of research/technical support, safety education, health and safety management, and the maintenance and management of large-scale experimental equipment.

    Biomaterials Analysis Division

The Biomaterials Analysis Division aims to be a dedicated bioresearch support division capable of providing total support, ranging from the preparation of biological specimens to their examination using advanced equipment and data analysis. It provides educational research support by carrying out contract analysis using shared facilities, manages the shared facilities, and conducts training workshops for users. Additionally, this division partners with teachers in the field of life sciences at the University, provides experimental environments for gene experiments and animal studies, carries out education research support, and manages and operates related facilities.

    Semiconductor and MEMS Processing Division

This division provides technical support for research and educational activities in the semiconductor and MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) fields at the University. The support is provided for research on semiconductor optical and electron devices, MEMS process technologies, analysis of related materials, etc.

    Facility Station Division

This division was established in April 2022 to create a place for fusion research centered on providing a research environment accessible to young researchers and shared use of facilities, in order to reform the research environment and realize the next-generation research infrastructure concept for fostering young researchers. The center will provide state-of-the-art equipment and a research environment to make it a "research dojo" for young researchers by introducing full-scale remote access, enabling use from multiple campuses (including other universities), providing TC support centered on equipment sharing, and collaborating with NINS. We aim to provide total support for research and education, including analysis and data analysis using advanced equipment.

    Equipment sharing promotion group

The various facility-sharing initiatives promoted by this office provide a system for carrying out overall management and support under the auspices of the OFC, while bringing out the uniqueness of each department (procurement and management methods for unique facilities).

    - Management of integrated facility-sharing system
    - Promotion of equipment consolidation and space efficiency
    - Space allocation at the discretion of the President
